Admission Procedure

  • Admission is open to all boys and girls irrespective of caste, creed, and religion.
  • Dates for registration of names for admission tests and interviews for various classes are notified on the School Notice Board.
  • Registration forms and information sheets are distributed from the Office on specified dates.
  • Parents desirous of getting their children admitted should register by applying through the formal registration form.
  • The following documents are to be provided at the time of admission:
    • Attested photocopy of the Birth Certificate procured from the Registrar of Death & Births.
    • Attested photocopy of SC/ST/OBC Certificate procured from the Corporation if applicable.
    • Two passport size photographs of the child.
    • Attested photocopy of the Report Card (Statement of Marks) and original Transfer Certificate of the previous school attended.
  • The lowest age limit is 3+ years for Play Group and Six plus for Class One as on the first of April of the year of joining the school.
  • Registration does not guarantee admission. Admission will depend on the number of vacancies and shall be made strictly on the basis of merit.
  • Registration in a particular year is not transferable to any other year. Fresh registration will be essential for consideration for admission for another year.
  • The school reserves the right to test the child in any or all subjects.
  • For the entrance test, general questions are designed to test the ability of the child in reference to the standard of the class to which admission is sought subject to permissible age. Hence, no book or any particular course is prescribed.
  • Parents are requested to verify the date of birth of their wards at the time of admission. No change in the date of birth will be entertained later.
  • Rules are subject to change at the discretion of the school.
  • The admission of a child would imply the complete acceptance by the parents/guardians of all the school rules enforced or as amended for the term.
  • The school reserves the right of accepting or refusing admission of a child after having tested and declared eligible.

Fee Structure:

  • The school charges for under certain heads (admission, Annual, Term, Tuition, Science, Computers, and Transportation etc.) details of which are listed in the Bill Book.
  • All fees, including bus fee, are chargeable for all twelve months in a year. No waiver in any fee will be made for continued absence on any ground or for students admitted in the middle of the academic year.
  • All fee is payable through the Bill Book issued to all students on the school rolls directly in the Bank authorized by the school.
  • The schedule for payment is as follows:

  • If there is a bank holiday on the fixed date of payment, the dues should be deposited on the next day when the bank reopens.
  • In case of non-deposition of the prescribed fee in the bank within the time fixed, payments will be accepted in the school office along with a late fee of Rs. 50 upto 30th or 31st of the first month of the term and with a late fee of Rs. 500 during the second month of the term.
  • If, however, at the end of the second month, the dues continue to remain outstanding, the name of the student will be struck off the school records. In such cases, the defaulting student can be readmitted only after payment of re-admission fee of Rs. 500 along with the amount outstanding with the permission of the school authorities.
  • All the school dues should be deposited by the prescribed date at the commencement of each new academic session, failing which the student’s name shall be struck off the school records notwithstanding the fact that the student has been attending classes in the meantime. In such a case, the student shall have to pay new admission charges after obtaining permission from the school authorities.
  • All school receipts should be kept securely.

WITHDRAWAL RULES

  • One month’s notice in writing or a month’s fee in lieu of notice must be given in advance before a student can be withdrawn.
  • Fees for the whole quarter (term) is payable in case a student is withdrawn in the middle of a term.
  • No claim of refund will be entertained for fee already paid for any quarter.
  • Transfer Certificates on withdrawal are issued only after all dues of the school have been cleared and valid transfer certificates of the previous school were deposited to our school at the time of admission.
  • Transfer Certificate with pass status will not be granted to a student who fails to secure promotion.
  • No duplicate Transfer Certificate will be issued.
